Parliament must summons Tony Blair over IRA-Libya semtex

Tony Blair is showing a complete and utter contempt of parliament by refusing to appear before the Northern Ireland select committee.

The victims of the IRA Libyan semtex cry out for justice.

The UK’s dealings with the Gaddafi regime stink!

Successive prime ministers – Blair, Brown and Cameron – have (to say the least) been duplicitous in their dealings with Libya. All three, albeit for different reasons, do not want the truth to come out.

Blair’s refusal to appear before the select committee presents a massive challenge to parliament. They must now summons him.

Not to do so, would be a pathetic response by parliament, and a further betrayal of the victims.
