Orange Order and Villiers meet following criticism at Twaddell parade
Senior Orangemen met with the Secretary of State Theresa Villiers on Monday to discuss concerns around marches.
The order said it had requested the meeting to focus on matters “including the ongoing impasses at both Drumcree and Ligoniel”.
However, while the order said that Grand Master Edward Stevenson had led the delegation – accompanied by a raft of other senior members – it released little other detail.

Hide AdThe meeting took place four days after top Belfast Orangeman George Chittick heavily criticised Miss Villiers at the 1,000-day commemoration of the Twaddell Avenue protest (sparked in response to the blocking of Orange marchers heading to Ligoneil in 2013).
