GoFundMe started to help heartbroken family after baby diagnosed with 1cm hole in heart

A GoFundMe started by Gerald Curran from Londonderry explains he would like to raise funds for the family of baby Tiernan to help with expenses over this difficult time.

He explains: “Tiernan is a 5 month old baby and just last week he was taken to hospital due to shallow breathing.

“His doctors discovered that he has a 1cm hole in his heart and other heart defects.

“After various scans doctors decided he had to go to the Royal in Belfast to work on building him up before he is transferred to Dublin to undergo Open Heart Surgery.

“As a DJ I got together with my fellow local DJ community to fund raise expenses to help out the family as well as the Children’s Heart Beat Trust in Belfast.

“We have decided that on Easter Monday we will have a 12 hour marathon of consecutive DJ mixes from 2pm - 2am on both The Love Years Facebook page and Derry DJ’s live YouTube channel.

“All donations would be much appreciated.”
