PSNI granted additional time to quiz Carson murder suspects
Detectives have also issued an appeal for information on the movements of a dark coloured saloon car with Republic of Ireland number plates around the time of the shooting at Walmer Street.
Mr Carson was shot in the head around 10.45pm after a group of armed men broke in as he was eating dinner with his partner and nine-year-old son.

Hide AdThe 28-year-old victim took cover in a downstairs bathroom but he was shot through the door. He died later in hospital.
The three men, aged 32, 37 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of murder following searches in west Belfast on Friday night.
A firearm was recovered and has been sent for forensic tests.
Mr Carson, originally from Turf Lodge, had moved to the area following his release from prison. It is believed he had been under death threat from paramilitaries.
