Straid make cheque presentation

Straid Young Farmers' Club have recently donated £1,500 to Sands Charity.

Sands Charity is the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.

They operate throughout the UK, supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby, working to improve the care bereaved parents receive, and promoting research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Not only will this money help to research to help reduce the number of babies lost it will also help the families who have lost a child.

Straid Young Farmers’ Club members raised the money through charity events throughout the year.

The club would like to thank the Sands Charity and the Stewart family for coming to receive and present the cheque last night.
