Routes in the Lisburn area closed on November 1 due to flooding - please seek alternative route

Police are advising motorists that due to flooding some routes in the Lisburn area are not passable this morning, Wednesday, 1st November.

A statement from the PSNI adds that the Moira Road is closed close to the junction with Hulls Lane.

They add that the Pond Park Road is impassable due to a long stretch of the road being flooded.

And the Old Road, Maghaberry is also closed.

Motorists should heed the road closed signs and not attempt to travel through the flood water.

Meanwhile, the Manse Road in the Four Winds area of south Belfast is currently impassable due to flooding.

In a statement the PSNI ask motorists to ‘please seek an alternative route’.
