Jennings is a former winner of the Newry Half Marathon and recently clocked 2:44:33 again in Rotterdam which would suggest top three potential in Belfast.

The Women’s 400 metre hurdles field for the Belfast International meeting on May 7 has been boosted by the edition of European finalist Jessie Barr.

The Ferrybank girl, with a best of 55.93, will face double Commonwealth competitor Christine McMahon of Ballymena and Antrim who has a time of 56.97.
