The Belfast fighter faces Martin J Ward for the belts on the undercard of Chris Eubank jnr’s clash with former World champion Arthur Abraham at Wembley Arena and ‘The Apache’ says he is ready to deliver when the pressure is on.

“Victory on Saturday will move me into European contention. So I know how important this fight is to me,” he said.

“This will move me onto bigger and better things. And that’s what I want at this stage of my career.

“It is a massive show with so many big names on it, including Chris Eubank Jnr, Lee Selby and Kid Galahad.

“It is going to be a special night and I can’t wait. I have never fought on a show this size before, but I am ready to soak it all in.

“This is my time and I am ready to delivery. I can’t wait.”

And Cacace says preparation for the clash has gone very well.

“I feel great. So it is time to get the show on the road.

“I have enjoyed a solid camp for this fight, and everything has ran really smoothly.

“Ray Ginley and the team have been brilliant so I can have no excuses.”

Cacace accepts he is facing the stiffest test of his career against British champion Ward (17-0-2).

“On paper, this is the biggest test of my career by a mile,” he added.

“But Ward is in for the toughest test of his career. If the stoppage comes then happy days but I am prepared to go the distance if need be.”

And Cacace is sure he has the power to see off the challenge of his rival.

“I have a game plan and I believe that if I stick to that then things will be alright.

“There will be a moment when I have the chance to unload some big shots and we’ll see how he reacts.

“I truly believe that there’s not a harder puncher than me in the world at super-featherweight.

“This is a huge opportunity for me and I am prepared to take that chance,” said Cacace.
