Lorcan Tucker says Ireland must learn from series defeat by Namibia
Ireland captain Lorcan Tucker says his side must learn from their series defeat by Namibia after a batting collapse condemned the visitors to a five-wicket loss in the deciding fifth one-day international at the National Cricket Ground.
JJ Smit took three wickets in four balls as Ireland were dismissed for 129 in 33.1 overs, before the hosts completed their chase inside 22 overs to clinch the series.

Tucker said: “Obviously, it was a disappointing day for us - we came here today excited about the opportunities with the series on the line, but I don't think we quite rocked up from a skills perspective.
“We have learned a lot, but I think we've a lot to reflect on going forward.”
Despite the disappointment, Tucker believes the experience of playing in these conditions will help Ireland’s younger players prepare for the World Cup Qualifier, which begins in February.
The captain identified top-order batting and bowling through the middle overs as the key areas requiring improvement.
“I think top-order batting, and bowling through the middle period of the innings. I think Namibia gave us a good lesson in terms of how to do those things successfully. I think we brought the required intensity, but those skills need to sharpen up a little bit.
“Credit to Namibia, they played diligent cricket and did that for longer periods of time than us - that's why they won the series today.”
Namibia secured victory inside 22 overs to leave Ireland with plenty to address before their qualifying campaign.
