Former Coleraine defender Garth Falconer joins the Ferney Park club and follows on the heels of Stephen O’Flynn, Jake Dykes, Ryan Mayse and Ivan Sproule.

Anderson has hailed the arrival of Falconer, who had been on the radar of a number of Premiership clubs.

“I had spoken to Garth in pre-season but he chose Coleraine in what was a tight call,” Anderson told the club’s website.

“Garth is a quick attacking left back and it’s an area where we need players playing in their natural position. Along with David Elliott we now have great competition and cover in a vital area.”

“After his release from Coleraine, Garth had signed for Dergview but as he has not played or been registered, he can now play for ourselves and I would like to thank Dergview manager Richard Clarke for his understanding over this signing. He was able to see the bigger picture given his vast experience as a Premiership player at Portadown”.
