Both players played key roles in the Glens' success last season.

Midfielder Plum quickly became an integral part of the club's midfield after joining from Croatian club Osijek scoring a number of spectacular set-piece goals before he sustained a cruciate injury in January.

O'Neill's stock continues to rise after notching 12 goals last term, including the opener in the Irish Cup final against Ballymena United.

“Paul is one of the brightest young talents in Northern Ireland," added McDermott.

"He has pace, power, quality, enthusiasm and a great eye for goal - he has a very bright future!

"More Important than his football abilities is his character. He is humble and honest at all times. A great lad!

"I always enjoy working with Paul as he has a permanent hunger to learn and a desire to compete. With consistent performances he has a future in leagues beyond our shores.”
