Joel Cooper is the latest Irish League star being linked with a move to Oxford United.

In recent years the League One side has raided the Danske Bank Premiership for Gavin Whyte and Mark Sykes.

Now Linfield winger Cooper is reported to be attracting the interest of boss Karl Robinson.

The 24-year-old currently has one year left on his deal at Windsor Park after joining from Glenavon in 2018.

Shrewsbury Town are another club rumoured to be monitoring Cooper's situation, however given the success of Sykes and Whyte, who has since moved on to Cardiff City, Cooper may favour a switch to the Kassam Stadium.
