Whether it’s a case of competing at the top or bottom, Irish League managers were working hard until the final moments to strengthen their squad for the Premiership run-in.
Here we take a look at the recruitment from each club across the window and pick out what could be the smartest piece of business.

1. Ronan Doherty (Larne)
While admittedly Ronan Doherty was Larne's only signing of the transfer window, it could still prove to be a very shrewd piece of business. The former Cliftonville midfielder is known for his creativity and arrived at the Premiership leaders from Coleraine. He has already played an important role, starting in league wins over Bangor and Crusaders, where he picked up an assist. Photo: Larne FC

2. Mark Coyle (Coleraine)
Ruaidhri Higgins wanted to add winners to his Coleraine squad and did just that with the arrival of Mark Coyle. Coyle captained Shelbourne to League of Ireland Premier Division title glory in 2024 and featured in the Conference League. Still aged only 28, he could be arriving at The Showgrounds at the perfect time for the Bannsiders. Photo: Coleraine FC

3. Josh Daniels (Glentoran)
Glentoran were the biggest winners of the recent transfer window, adding quality throughout their squad, including the Irish League return of Josh Daniels. The 29-year-old won three consecutive Welsh league titles with The New Saints, who he also represented in the Conference League. Having previously starred for Glenavon, Daniels knows the league and offers Declan Devine versatility. Photo: Glentoran FC

4. Darragh Leahy (Linfield)
Darragh Leahy has already fit seamlessly into life at Linfield and could be an important player for them over the coming years. Former Dundalk ace Leahy has started in the Blues' last three Premiership matches and produced impressive performances. With the departure of Sam Roscoe, the 27-year-old's arrival becomes even more crucial. Photo: Linfield FC
