Whether it’s a case of competing at the top or bottom, Irish League managers were working hard until the final moments to strengthen their squad for the Premiership run-in.
Here we take a look at the recruitment from each club across the window and pick out what could be the smartest piece of business.

5. Paul Doyle (Dungannon Swifts)
While the arrival of Corey Smith is very exciting for the future, Paul Doyle joined Dungannon Swifts last month with extensive League of Ireland experience. He has made more than 100 appearances in the Republic of Ireland's top-flight for Sligo Rovers, UCD, Dundalk and Drogheda United, and made his Swifts debut in last weekend's defeat to Glentoran. 6. Mikey Place (Carrick Rangers)
Former Ballymena United star Mikey Place has made an immediate impact at Carrick Rangers and already lifted silverware. He arrived at Taylors Avenue in early-January and has started in their last five Premiership matches alongside the Co Antrim Shield final. The 27-year-old has contributed to an upturn in Carrick form - Stephen Baxter's side have won each of their last four league games. Photo: Carrick Rangers

7. Brian Healy (Cliftonville)
Brian Healy was a man in demand after his impressive goal record at H&W Welders, but Cliftonville won the race for his signature. He scored on debut in the Irish Cup and netted again against Carrick Rangers last month. The 21-year-old is one of the most exciting young players in the Irish League and could thrill Reds fans during his time at Solitude. Photo: Stephen Hamilton/Inpho

8. Oisin Devlin (Bangor)
Oisin Devlin was already at Bangor before the transfer window, but Lee Feeney moved to turn his loan from Larne into a permanent stay. Still only 19, Devlin was predicted for big things after breaking through at Institute and consistent opportunities at Bangor could rediscover his top form. Photo: Alan Weir
