One of the key components of Cricket Ireland’s Strategic Plan is to build on the progress of the previous editions of the Inter-Pros and to strengthen them. Dennis Cousins, Commercial Director Cricket Ireland, highlighted the importance of the Hanley Energy’s involvement in the Inter-Provincial Series in assisting Cricket Ireland’s strategic aims: “The Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial series is the bridge between club and country and showcases the best of Irish cricket talent throughout the season. Cricket Ireland are greatly appreciative of the support from Hanley Energy which enables us to make each series bigger, better and more competitive.

“We’re also delighted to be working with Hanley Energy as the Official Technology Partner to Cricket Ireland and our international teams for a further two years. The leadership and global growth of Hanley Energy have been very impressive and Cricket Ireland look forward to continuing to support their ambitious plans long into the future.”

Leinster Lightning completed the clean sweep of three trophies in 2015, winning the Hanley Energy Championship, 50-over Cup & 20-over Trophy, but will face stiff competition from the Warriors and Knights across all three formats.

The action gets under way on Monday at Stormont at 10.45am, and admission is free.
