May start for 2021 British Superbike Championship as new calendar confirmed

The 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship will begin later than normal next year, with round one scheduled for Oulton Park from May 1-3.

This year, a condensed calendar was unveiled over six rounds with three races at each after the start of the series was delayed from April until August as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Announced on Friday, the provisional 2021 calendar includes 11 rounds, although Assen is omitted with the potential for ongoing travel restrictions due to Covid-19.
