Tuesday evening's Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT qualifying sessions to go ahead but organisers say weather disruption possible
Tuesday evening’s qualifying sessions at the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT are currently set to commence as scheduled.
The organisers announced the decision at 15:05 BST after reviewing the latest weather forecast.
However, rain later in the evening could lead to disruption.
A statement said: “Tonight’s qualifying sessions remain as scheduled, with roads due to close at 18:00. “Current conditions around the Course and the latest weather forecast indicate conditions will be suitable for this evening’s qualifying sessions to commence.

“However, there is a chance of disruption later in the evening from incoming showers.”
Monday evening’s qualifying was cancelled because of wet weather.
The first Manx Grand practice sessions were run on Sunday, although deteriorating conditions brought the action to a premature halt.
It has also been confirmed that Wednesday afternoon’s contingency will be utilised, with roads set to close at 12:30 BST.
