Plans in place for BDS Ballynahinch Show
The first class of the day is the Mountain and Moreland in Hand.
There are classes to suit all tastes including hackney to a show wagon, light trade, junior whip, novice horse driven to a suitable vehicle, exercise vehicle plus the various private driving classes.

Hide AdThere is also Osborne Refrigerators BDS National Championship 2016 qualifiers.
The highlight of the day will be the cavalcade of traditional type vehicles at the playing fields at 1.45pm. The judge and sponsor of £100 to the winning turnout is Mr Graham Hancock, Antiques at the Stile, Saintfield, Co Down. The winner will also receive the W G Alexander Memorial Perpetual Challenge Cup.
There will be a championship for the In Hand Classes; The Exercise Vehicle Class; Hackney Horse driven to a Show wagon; and Private Driving Classes.
The judge is Mr R Smyth, who has been chosen from The British Driving Society Panel of Judges. The show director is Mr N Brown.

The show is organised by the Northern Ireland Branch – British Driving Society.
All horses/ponies entered for the show must be the bona fide property of a BDS member and driven by a BDS member.
A junior whip under 14 years participating must wear a safety hat and be accompanied by an adult.

Hide AdAll competitors must be members of the British Driving Society and be able to present their 2016 membership card whenever making their entries.
Caterers will be on site. St John’s Ambulance in attendance. Marquee and barriers supplied by The Lions Club, Ballynahinch
