Hide AdThe news comes as Instonians confirmed that Gavin Rogers has agreed to become the club’s new first-team coach.
Rogers has moved after he ended a long-term association with North Down earlier this winter.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and look forward to working with the management and players at Instonians Cricket Club, with hard work and enjoyment, there are definitely exciting times ahead,” Rogers said.
CIYMS are still looking to plug the gap left by Max Sorensen’s decision not to move to Belmont. The Ireland bowler had agreed to move from The Hills but changed his mind last month. Instonians are also expected to sign a replacement for Rushe.
