Display to mark the centenary of the granting of the Ferguson Master Patent
At this years Derg Valley Vintage club rally held in Castlederg, I put on a special display for the club to mark the centenary of the granting of the Ferguson Master Patent that was first granted to Harry Ferguson on the 14th June, 1926. On display was several plaques unveiled to mark milestones in the development of the modern tractor. I enjoyed explaining to the large crowd in the wonderful sunny weather why the Patent is so important as part of Harry Ferguson's invention of the modern tractor and that ideas it contains are still fitted to every tractor today.

2026 is also 95 years of the three hydraulic point linkage in final form.
90 years of the Ferguson-Brown and Ferguson Farm Machinery.
80 years of the Ferguson TE20 and 70 years of the Ferguson FE35.
