Rock for Alzheimer's will return to the Belfast Empire for a Massive Milestone in 2027

Three amazing bands, AC?DC, the Arms of Venus DeMilo and the Foyer Incident, will once again team up on Saturday February 13 2027 to raise money for Alzheimer's Society Northern Ireland. Remarkably, this will be the 14th year of the popular event, with in excess of £90,000 raised for charity to date. Organisers hope that 2027 will see them smash the 100k barrier for this amazing cause. 

AC?DC are Belfast’s finest tribute to the music of AC/DC, and have been leaving audiences thunderstruck for over 25 years. Their show encompasses all eras of the iconic Australian outfit with more high voltage anthems than you can shake a stick at. 

The Arms of Venus are the best rock and indie covers outfit in the country. They’ve been at it for longer than they’d like to mention and regularly play to packed out houses with an energy that leaves audiences crying out for more. 

The Foyer Incident are one half of well-loved party band Meraki and have been opening Rock for Alzheimer's from the very outset. A brilliant way to kick off any evening. 

Founded in 2013, Rock for Alzheimer’s was born when a group of local musicians, all of whom had experienced seeing loved ones living with Alzheimer's, decided to do something about it. What followed was a series of sell-out concerts every February in the iconic Belfast Empire. In 2017 Rock for Alzheimer's won Event of the Year at the Dementia Friendly awards. This year organisers are hoping to hit the amazing total of £100,000 with your help.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Rock for Alzheimer’s crew back to the Empire for another night of amazing music. I don’t think anyone thought we’d still be here, nearly a decade and a half on, still raising a ton of money and having a great time doing it. £100,000 is a lot of cash in anyone’s book and we’d love to see all our music lovers, young and old, in for this brilliant cause. Tickets are only £20, with all proceeds going to the charity. ”

Rock for Alzheimer’s 2027 will be held at the Belfast Empire Music Hall on Saturday 13 February, with the doors opening at 8pm. Tickets for the event are available online via Ticketmaster or in person from the Belfast Empire. All proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society NI.
