During the course of the pandemic, Lisa undertook the role of stakeholder engagement co-ordinator before her appointment as Northern Ireland regional engagement manager.

In her role as NI regional engagement manager, Lisa acts as a trusted ambassador for RICS, overseeing interactions with the regional board whilst building and maintaining a network of influential, engaged, and valued members across the sector and region.

Lisa O’Connor, RICS Northern Ireland regional engagement manager, said: “I am really looking forward to developing my career within RICS in my new role. Throughout the past four years I have enjoyed connecting with the members in Northern Ireland, and I am excited to be back in the region to help build trust and re-engage with our existing members and develop new relationships with our new members.

“I am immersing myself in my new role and have been out in the region delivering a series of member consultations, this included a Stay Informed session in Belfast where the members heard from and engaged with our interim chief executive Richard Collins to discuss what is happening within RICS, and also current market issues.

“I am eager to continue working with members to assist them in being part of the change at RICS NI and look forward to seeing what the future holds.”
