Strong entry for elite Hereford sale

The Corraback herd of Mervyn and Henry Richmond will lead off with a string of five big strong bulls ready to work in either beef or dairy herds - David Smyth is offering four two year olds from his Magheraknock herd while the Glenside herd of Raymond Pogue is also offering four choice young sires.
“Des Kelly has selected three strong youngsters from his Mullin herd at Ballygawley while Robin Irvines’ Graceland herd is consigning three young bulls with strong EBV’s for growth and muscle and including a Superior Carcass Sire which is eligible for the Hereford society’s £500 cash incentive - and a well bred young bull from our own Richmount Herd.”
Other notable entries are offered by guest consignors, A & S Irvine, M & L Moore, R & P Mc Clenaghan, C Kerr, A & V Mc Fadden, C McCord and S Forsythe.
All entries will be BVD tested and vacinated, and have undergone a DNA test to prove parentage and to detect genetic abnormalities. A pre-sale veterinary inspection and weight check will ensure that all animals are up to breed standard.
