A top NI Chinese restaurant owner is to hang up his apron and wok after 50 years in business.

The Peking Restaurant in Lurgan’s William St was established by David Tsang half a century ago.

A popular venue, it was one of the few Chinese restaurants in the town and served up a mixture of Cantonese cuisine as well as European food.

Owner David, through his son Michael, issued a statement on social media.#

Mr Tsang said: “Having cooked up a storm in Lurgan for nearly 50 years, it is with a heavy heart I have decided to hang up my apron and wok.

“From 5th August 2020, The Peking Restaurant will be operating under new management.

“I wish to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their business and kindness all these years.
