Ramko Hydraulic Cylinders, based in Coalisland, said the new facility would help customers source components more quickly and get expert advice when machinery develops problems.

The trade counter caters for both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers and members of the public, with a range of standard hydraulic rams held in stock and available for collection.

Customers who order online can also avail of same-day collection, helping to minimise delays for those who rely on hydraulic equipment in their day-to-day operations.

The facility also offers engineering support for customers dealing with damaged or worn hydraulic cylinders. They can bring existing units to Ramko’s premises for assessment, with the team advising on the options available.

Mairead Rush, office manager at Ramko Hydraulic Cylinders, said: “We want to make it easier for both our OEM customers and the general public to access the hydraulic products, practical engineering advice and support they need.

“We know that when a hydraulic ram fails, getting the right solution quickly can make a real difference.

“By holding standard rams in stock, offering same-day collection for online orders and welcoming customers to bring in old or damaged units for assessment, we aim to provide a straightforward, helpful service for our customers locally and further afield.”

The opening marks a further development for the Coalisland firm as it looks to strengthen customer relationships and make its products and engineering expertise more accessible across County Tyrone and beyond.

The trade counter is located at Ramko Hydraulic Cylinders’ premises in Coalisland and is open Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.30pm, and on Fridays from 8am to 1.30pm.
