Joe Wicks to take part in Belfast 'wellness' event this weekend
Global fitness icon Joe Wicks is set to take part in a major Belfast ’wellness’ event this weekend.
WellFest is bringing its positive vibes to Northern Ireland for the very first time and Visit Belfast is teaming up with the event as an official partner.

Over five festival stages visitors can experience everything from Pilates and yoga to high-energy fitness and strength workouts, motivational talks, and even a WellKids area.
Taking place over September 12-13, WellFest Belfast provides the opportunity to discover new workouts and explore the WellVillage, packed with health and wellness brands.
The festival will feature headline appearances from Joe Wicks and his wife Rosie Wicks on the main stage; Newry native and fitness influencer Maeve Madden; Olympic and world champion gymnast Rhys McClenaghan; Owen O’Kane - Belfast-born therapist to Lewis Capaldi and bestselling psychotherapist - and Irish Paralympic swimmer and gold medallist Ellen Keane.
Visit Belfast’s Head of Marketing, Gavin McKenna, said the event was shaping up to be another one of the city's unmissable weekends of the year.
“WellFest Belfast is a wonderful celebration of health, fitness and wellbeing, right in the heart of Ormeau Park,” he said.
“There’s a fantastic line-up of fitness and wellness experts who will bring positive energy and feel-good vibes through motivational and inspiring talks and workshops.
“This is the first-ever Belfast edition of WellFest, launching as part of the festival's milestone 10th anniversary year, and we’re delighted to come onboard as an event partner.
