The event - called All for One - was organised by DJ Andrew Todd in May and featured some of the finest of Northern Ireland’s DJ community playing all kinds of music for an all day event.

Andrew Todd said: “The Coronavirus doesn’t discriminate based on musical tastes and neither did we. There was Hip Hop, Funk/Soul, Indie, House, Disco, Punk, Trance, Commercial, Pop and everything in between - even some Country and the odd live band too.”

This week, the organisers presented the money (minus JustGiving fees) to the staff of Causeway and Antrim Area hospitals.

Andrew said: “A massive thanks again to everyone who donated and to Alan Simpson and all DJs and entertainers who gave up their valuable time to make this event the massive success that it was. Thanks also to all the guys behind the scenes who made this happen including Connery McGill, Josh Snoddy and Stuart Cullen.

“All money raised has been sent to the local Trust which has a designated COVID-19 staff fund which provides support to staff working with COVID patients and those who have to self-isolate from their families. The money will be used for providing staff with comfort packs, food during periods of work and alternative accommodation for staff during self-isolation.” Andrew presented the cheque to Leanne Stewart Murray, Paul Murray and Donna Hanna.
