Belfast: Man arrested as police seize of cocaine and cannabis
A 23-year-old man was arrested by police in north Belfast yesterday after drugs were recovered from a car.
Around 4.30pm, police stopped a black Seat Ibiza car on Craven Street. A quantity of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia were seized. A further search was conducted in the Crosby Street area and a small quantity of suspected cocaine and herbal cannabis was seized.
Police said the man was arrested for possession of Class A drugs, possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the distribution of Class A drugs. He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
