Fast food outlet robbed at knifepoint
A fast food outlet worker has been left shaken after an armed robbery at the premises in Whiteabbey.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the robbery on Thursday.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report shortly before midnight of an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in the Shore Road area.
“It was reported that a man with a hood up and his face covered had entered the premises shortly beforehand, armed with a knife.
"He demanded money before making off on foot with a small amount of cash. The man was last seen making off in the direction of Glenville Road.
“Officers attended the scene and spoke to the employee, who although was unharmed, was left obviously shaken by the ordeal.
