Man charged with murder of Jordan Webb in County Down

Police said the 21-year-old is expected to appear before Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Mr Webb, 28, was pronounced dead at an address in the village of Portavogie on Monday morning.

A police spokesperson said officers attended an address in the New Harbour Road area just after 7.45am.
