Man to appear in court charged with wounding after two police officers injured

A 31-year-old man has been charged with wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of assault on police, possession of a Class B Controlled Drug and resisting police.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday January 25. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to the injury of two police officers, following an incident which occurred in south Belfast on Tuesday December 29.
