Donaghadee YFC gain the top marks at NI quiz

Over 160 YFCU members took part in the popular YFCU NI Quiz sponsored by Ulster Bank on Friday 4th March 2016 at Magherafelt High School.
First place in the quiz were Donaghadee YFC. The team included of Kelsie Crawford, Hannah Spratt, Alison Rea and Stuart Rea. Donaghadee YFC were crowned the winners of the quiz which consisted of nine rounds of ten questions and included a picture and music round.

The North Down club received the top prize of £300 for their club.

Their team was made up of Kelsie Crawford, Hannah Spratt, Alison Rea and Stuart Rea.

Third place in the quiz were Spa YFC team. The team included Hannah Shaw, George Shaw, James Carlisle and David Young. Second place went to Trillick & District YFC which was made up of Mark Gibson, Bryan McKinley, Matthew Henderson and John Armstrong. They were awarded £200 for their club.

In third place, Spa YFC who received £100 prize money for their club was made up of Hannah Shaw, George Shaw, James Carlisle and David Young.

Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster would like to take this opportunity to thank Michael Stewart from sponsor Ulster Bank for attending and supporting the quiz, Magherafelt High School who provided the superb venue, YFCU president Roberta Simmons for her services as quiz master on the night, past YFCU president William Wilson for setting the testing questions and everyone who helped with the stewarding and marking on the night.
