Ben Lowry: Some thoughts about centenary parade and the inadequate BBC coverage

Last week I wrote about how Northern Ireland was denied a centenary to appease people who not only want NI to cease to exist (a legitimate aim of many people) but are fixated on that goal (a far smaller group).

I had not then considered how the BBC might cover the parade.

But after reporting from the entire route myself, I realised the coverage was utterly inadequate — and said so on Nolan. Rather than rehearse what I said, this web version of this article links to a recording of it (below).
