You might be free to vote on the EU but not to leave
I hail from Co Cork and wish to inform readers of a lesson we learned in the Republic of Ireland from EU referenda:
You are free to vote No, but you are not free to leave.
We tried twice in the Republic to reject EU treaties and twice we were made to vote again.
It will be no different for the United Kingdom.
