Great news as NI road closed in both directions after ‘discovery of suspicious object’ - is reopened

The Agivey Bridge Bann Road #B66 Bendooragh - Co Antrim - which was closed in both directions, after the ‘discovery of a suspicious object’ - has now been reopened.

In a statement the PSNI said: “Motorists are advised that the Agivey Bridge, Bendooragh is currently closed due to the discovery of a suspicious object this afternoon.

“Please avoid the area”.

However a recent post from Trafficwatch NI said: “The Agivey Bridge Bann Road #B66 Bendooragh has re-opened following an earlier Police incident”.
