Lurgan salon Adore Hair and Beauty celebrates multiple award success after humble beginnings as home-based business
A Lurgan hair and beauty salon is celebrating a remarkable year after winning multiple prestigious industry awards.
Adore Hair and Beauty recently received two major honours at the Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards, winning Technical Hairstylist of the Year and Outstanding Achievement for Customer Experience. Building on this success, the salon then went on to the All-Ireland Awards, where it was crowned Best Hair and Beauty Salon Team of the Year.
Owner Nicola Gardiner said the awards are the culmination of more than a decade of hard work, dedication and passion for the industry.
Her journey began more than 10 years ago, offering gel nails from her mother’s bedroom before expanding into a dedicated room in her first home.
As demand grew, she opened a small salon of her own before eventually establishing Adore Hair and Beauty, which has now become one of the largest and busiest salons in Lurgan.

Now celebrating three years under the Adore Hair and Beauty name, the salon is home to a thriving team of talented professionals, including seven hairstylists, four makeup artists, and an experienced skin specialist. Together, they provide a wide range of hair, beauty, skincare, and bridal services to clients from across Northern Ireland.
Widely recognised as one of the region’s most sought-after bridal makeup artists, Nicola has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and high-quality work. However, she is quick to acknowledge that the salon’s success is very much a team effort.
