Tributes paid to woman ‘who touched our hearts’ with brave COVID-19 battle

Kelli McCaw from Galgorm in Co Antrim died on January 12 with the virus.
Her husband Stephen McCaw runs ‘McCaw Made’ in the Co Antrim village.
Since her passing tributes have flooded social media.
One said: “Until we meet again Kelli.
“What a legacy of kindness you have left behind.

“Thank you for praying and believing for Kelli to win her fight with COVID she fought the good fight but the Lord wanted his beautiful girl home. She’s now fully healed ❤️

“God knew it was time for Kelli to go Home.
“Every single person who knew Kelli was better for having her in their lives, she was such a friend to our family, through good times and bad. You have touched our hearts Kelli McCaw and thousands of others.. this world is a better place for your being here and for the legacy you leave.. there’s a peace we find as Christians knowing Kelli is in heaven now, healed and whole.
“That would be what she would want you to know, that there is hope and life ahead, in eternity if you ask Jesus into your heart..that God makes a way, but only if we believe.

“You told me it how I should have heard it not how i wanted to hear it also. You guided me, encouraged me and never gave up on me, and you where a united fan .

Prior to her passing prayer requests were made on social media as she battled with the illness in ICU.
According to her death notice on James Henry Funeral Services, friends are invited to watch the funeral service online on Saturday.

Hide AdShe is being deeply mourned by her husband Stephen, son Dean and wider family circle.
A funeral notice on James Henry Funeral Services says that ‘due to the current restrictions, house and funeral private’.
It adds that ‘Kelli’s funeral cortege will leave Henry’s Funeral Parlour on Saturday 16th at 1.30pm to Ballee Cemetery, allowing friends and family to pay their respects along the route, whilst maintaining social distancing’.
