Traffic & Travel: Vehicle stranded in flood water- caution urged with surface water and flooding causing challenging driving conditions

Police have urged that motorist drive with caution after heavy overnight rain.

The Markethill Road in Tandragee is closed due to flooding.

The closure is in place close to the junction of Cooley Hill, one car is currently stranded in the water.

Some roads across Northern Ireland have a build-up of surface water which is causing flooding and challenging driving conditions.

A number of reports have been received of flooded roads after yesterday’s yellow rain warning.

Police have said ‘please take slow down and take extra care when travelling’.
