JAMES TENNYSON: '˜No stone has been left unturned'

James Tennyson looked the business at yesterday's press conference for his IBF Super-featherweight World title fight against Tevin Farmer in Boston tomorrow night.

The Belfast fighter looked cool, calm and collected while champion Farmer looked a little bit jaded.

And Tennyson can’t wait for the first bell ring at the TD Garden Arena.

“I am ready and I believe I will get the job done against Framer,” he said. “This is a huge fight and an even bigger opportunity for me and I am prepared to take that chance.

“Farmer is a quality fighter and it will be a tough evening but I am prepared to do what it takes to bring the belt home to Belfast.

“The support and best wishes I have received has been unreal and I want to repay that support by becoming IBF World champion.

“It has been a long camp, but I am ready and at this stage I just can’t wait to get started.”

And Tennyson says preparation for the clash has gone very well.

“My weight is great and I feel fresh,” he said. “I have been dreaming of fighting for a world title for a long time so no stone has been left unturned in preparation for this fight.

“Farmer is a good fighter and he is a good mover. I will have to hunt him down and look to hurt him.

“This will be a tough fight but I believe if I can get to him I can hurt him and win this fight. I am prepared for 12 rounds if that is what it takes.”
