“On behalf of the board of Rangers Football Club, I would like to firstly extend my thanks to each and every one of our loyal supporters – without whom there simply would not be a Rangers today.

“Your unstinting dedication to our club over the last decade is phenomenal, and I know the lengths so many of you in Northern Ireland have gone to and will continue to go to, in order to back our team.

“The last few days have been truly incredible for everyone connected to this club – so much work has gone on behind the scenes in the last six years since the board changeover, and then in the last three since Steven Gerrard became our manager.

“There is no doubt that Steven, our football director Ross Wilson and his staff have raised the bar at Rangers to a new standard which we must continue to exceed in order to keep progressing.

“Ross will often talk about the ‘one-club’ ethos we have at the club – and it is that mantra, of every single person at the club being on the same page – that has assisted us in becoming Champions for the 55th time.

“I want to assure you all, however, that the hard work does not stop here.

“We are in the midst of a two-legged Europa League tie with Slavia Prague, and we want to advance beyond last year‘s achievement and reach the quarter-finals.

“We have six Scottish Premiership matches to go until the end of the season, and also the Scottish Cup to look forward to.

“And, into next season, we have the Champions’ League qualifiers to prepare for - that is where we have set our target and it is where we believe, as a club, we truly belong.

“In the meantime, I hope you are all keeping safe and well, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to Ibrox Park as soon as it is safe.”
