Classic TT: Michael Dunlop seals hat-trick with victory in Senior finale on Team Classic Suzuki
Michael Dunlop secured a Classic TT hat-trick after clinching a resounding victory in the Senior Classic finale on the Isle of Man on Tuesday.
The Northern Ireland rider followed up his victory in Sunday’s Formula One race with another comfortable success on the Team Classic Suzuki GSX-R750 SRAD.
Dunlop’s treble included a win in the Lightweight race on Sunday, riding the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda RS250.
Yorkshireman Jamie Coward finished as the runner-up on the Greenall Racing Kawasaki ZXR750 in a repeat of his result in the Formula One race, while Manxman Nathan Harrison – also riding a Greenall Kawasaki – finished third to complete the podium.

Dunlop set the fastest lap in the race on the second lap at 128.596mph as he slowed for his pit stop.
He established a new lap record for the class of 129.078mph in the Formula One race, which obliterated Kiwi Bruce Anstey’s nine-year-old lap record of 127.496mph from 2017, set on a Padgett’s YZR500.
Dunlop won by 11.680s from Coward after 150.92 miles of racing around the 37.73-mile Mountain Course, with Harrison 33.956s further adrift in third.
Shaun Anderson from Banbridge claimed fourth on the Stanford Racing by ARD Suzuki GSX-R750, a further 39.559s behind.
Leading podium contender Mike Browne was an early retirement on the Electric Van Co Kawasaki ZXR750 at Crosby.
Former winner Rob Hodson was also forced out on the CK Racing Ducati 916, with Dominic Herbertson failing to finish on the TAS/Adam Hewitt Racing Kawasaki.
Ulster road racing legend Phillip McCallen flagged the race off and Coward was the early leader on the first lap, four tenths up on Dunlop at Ballaugh, with Harrison 2.468s adrift in third on corrected time.
However, Dunlop was ahead after the first lap by 1.867s following a standing start effort of 127.070mph on the Suzuki.
Coward lapped at 126.849mph with third-placed Harrison recording a speed of 126.096mph, which left him a further 6.389s in arrears.
Dunlop began to edge ahead on lap two and had an extended advantage of 4.856s over Coward at Ramsey Hairpin, with Harrison 11 seconds further behind.
The Ulsterman’s second lap of 128.596mph gave him a cushion of 7.037s over Coward (127.970mph) as he slowed for his pit stop.
Coward clawed back a few seconds in the pits, but Dunlop held an advantage of almost seven seconds by Glen Helen on the third and penultimate lap, with Harrison 16.027s back in third.
Anderson was fourth, 26.863s further behind on his Suzuki.
Peter Hickman retired in the pits on the Wiz Racing Norton 588.
Dunlop’s third lap of 121.127mph, factoring in his pit stop, gave hm a comfortable cushion of 11.230s over Coward as he began the fourth and last lap.
Harrison was 28.136s down in third while Anderson was still safe in fourth, over half-a-minute down.
Dunlop managed his lead on the final lap and had 12.691s in hand over Coward at Ramsey Hairpin for the final time.
Harrison remained in third with Anderson fourth in an unchanged top four with only the run over the Mountain to go.
There was no twist in the tale as Dunlop arrived safely at the Grandstand to claim his third Classic TT victory and his sixth around the Mountain Course in 2026 after a hat-trick at the Isle of Man TT.
Mistral Kawasaki team-mates Joe Yeardsley and Michael Sweeney completed the top six.
