Crusaders 'reluctantly' place Rory Hale on transfer list

Rory Hale looks set to leave Crusaders when the transfer window opens in January after the club confirmed that it had "reluctantly" accepted a transfer request from the player.

The 24-year-old was absent from the Crusaders squad for Saturday's 5-0 victory over Portadown.

In a statement released after the game the Crues confirmed they are open to offers for the player.

"Rory Hale has been placed on the transfer list at his own request - the club have reluctantly accepted this and are open to offers," said the statement.

The former Derry City and Galway United player joined the Crues in 2018.
