RÁS is a web-based system designed to give HRI clients access to the full range of racing administration tools from tablets and smartphones as well as PCs and laptops.

The new system is designed to make racing administration easier, faster and more efficient for owners, trainers, jockeys and jockey agents. It integrates the current online client accounts and replaces the long-standing Minitel system. Ireland’s 626 registered trainers will now be able to manage registrations, entries, declarations and financial transactions from any mobile device.

Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive of HRI, said: “HRI has custom-built a unique horse racing administration system using our own in-house racing and IT expertise in partnership with a leading software development company, Etain. The feedback has been very positive and we are confident that the transition will be both easy and efficient for our clients. The new RÁS system is a huge step forward and is fit for purpose for the 21st century.”

RÁS features a dedicated Help section and a series of 10 ‘how to’ videos. These videos have been produced to make it as easy as possible to learn how to use the system.

HRI have also set up a RÁS help desk which is available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (Tel: 045 455499) or email [email protected].
