Tuesday's qualifying schedule at Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT under threat from weather as organisers confirm Wednesday contingency plan
Tuesday’s qualifying schedule at the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT is under threat for the second successive day because of the weather.
Rain is forecast on the Isle of Man in the afternoon and evening.
The organisers are set to announce a final decision at 15:00 BST.
However, it has been confirmed that Wednesday afternoon’s contingency will be utilised, with roads set to close at 12:30 BST as the organisers attempt to get back on track.

Monday evening’s qualifying was cancelled because of wet weather, with the decision confirmed at 15:00 BST, three hours before the roads were schedule to close.
The first Manx Grand practice sessions were run on Sunday, although deteriorating conditions brought the action to a premature halt shortly before 16:00 BST.
On Tuesday morning, an official update said: “Light showers are forecast this afternoon, and further rain is forecast this evening which may affect the running of tonight’s scheduled qualifying sessions.
“A further update and a decision on this evening’s sessions will be issued by 15:00.
“Additionally, it has been confirmed that Wednesday afternoon’s contingency session will be utilised, with roads scheduled to close at 12:30. A full schedule for Wednesday afternoon and evening will be issued in due course.”
