Manx Grand Prix: Red flag incident at Black Dub brings Junior race to halt - result declared
Monday’s Manx Grand Prix Junior race was stopped by a red flag incident at the Black Dub on the third lap.
Republic of Ireland rider Liam Chawke (Jack Reid Cars/KMR Kawasaki) was the rider involved.

Chawke was reported to have sustained a leg injury and was due to be airlifted to Noble’s Hospital. An official update said he was ‘conscious and talking’.
The three-lap race was the opening race on the final day of the Manx GP schedule.

The organisers have confirmed that the race will not be restarted, with a result declared based on positions at the end of the second lap.
Scotland’s Johnny Stewart was confirmed as the winner of the Carole Nash Junior Manx Grand Prix on his Aprilia RS660 for his third victory of the event after winning the Sportbike and Supersport races for a Saturday double.
Manx rider Dan Sayle (RPM Motorsports Aprilia) was the runner-up, with the podium places completed by Bedfordshire’s Eddy Wormald on the Flitwick Motorcycles Yamaha R7.
Limavady’s Graham McAleese (FAO Racing/PMCG & DMAC Aprilia) was fifth behind Owen Monaghan (Alan Chamley/AC Racing Aprilia), while Andy Farrell from Skerries completed the top six on the Electric Van Co by Steadplan Aprilia.
