I am currently a Breaking News writer for the News Letter online and have chosen to immerse myself in digital since joining the digital team many years ago.

Before joining the News Letter in 2000 I worked for the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror.

And since joining the News Letter I have enjoyed wearing many different hats including ones as Security Correspondent, Education Correspondent and Features Writer.

My main passion is and always has been telling the stories of those who cannot easily do so themselves - and conveying information of interest to the public.

I also have a passion for property in Northern Ireland and the growing business sector which has quickly found its feet again after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Outside of work I am a married mother of a teenager - whilst I also enjoy an outside family of donkeys, alpacas, a goat, pony and miniature pig.
